Gardens

Sallowfield Cottage was originally a dairy and consequently the grounds are rich and fertile. Tended by a keen gardener, this has developed into a substantial English garden with many unique varieties of flowers, shrubs and trees.
The garden is set around a large pond and includes outdoor tables for lunch and tea (when its warm enough!)  The garden will be open for the NGS on the 15 June 2008.

Norfolk has a wide range of garden nurseries, close to Sallowfield Cottage, ideal for plant hunting expeditions.

We can provide directions to the best places to visit and also some guidance as to the best sights in the region, whether that be wild gardens with traditional local plant varieties, groomed estates designed by famous garden architects, or local abbeys, churches and museums.
